Cole Harbour Ringette to Host Level 1 Officiating Clinic

Cole Harbour Ringette Association will be hosting a Level 1 Officiating Clinic on Sunday October 5, 2008. The clinic will take place in the Boardroom at Cole Harbour Place from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Participants from outside the Cole Harbour Ringette Association are welcome to register.

The cost of registration is $60 per participant, and payment is required at the time of registration. CHRA will cover the cost of this training for CHRA registered players. Space is limited in this course so please register early.

Participants should bring a lunch, and plan to arrive on time as the clinic will begin promptly at 8:30 am.

To register for this clinics, please complete Form 112 - Officiating Clinic Registration, and return it with payment to Cole Harbour Ringette Association. Registration forms can be emailed to Peter Legere pjlegere@ns.sympatico.ca . However confirmation of registration for the clinic will not be sent until payment is received.

A reminder that 2008/09 is a rule change year, and as such all referees with a current Level 1 designation are required to retake the Level 1 Clinic, unless the have been officiating for 3 consecutive seasons and have a recommendation from the Director of Officials. Any current Level 1 officials who would like more information about what is required to maintain their certification should contact Melissa Connell, RNS Director of Officials.
